Growing up in Minnesota, I loved to see art and technology come together. That love has carried over to my career as an accomplished artist, which has spanned twenty-five years in the video game and casino gaming industries.
Early in my career, I entered the Corel World Design Contest: a competition that celebrates graphic artists and designers, and had over 5000 entries from over 70 countries every year. The 35 juried award winners were selected and continued to compete for Best of Category and Best of Show at Corel’s black tie gala held in Ottawa, Canada. From 1997 to 1999, I was a juried show award winner in this competition three years in a row.
In the video game industry, my talents have contributed to 16 published titles and a bunch of projects that never saw the light of day. I’ve completed this as a full-time and contract artist for large AAA companies down to small mobile gaming teams. Notable titles include “GoldenEye Rogue Agent” by Electronic Arts, “Dungeon Lords” by Heuristic Park, and “Fairy Godmother Tycoon” by EA Pogo.
I have had over a decade of involvement with the casino industry, having created art and animations for over fifty slot video games. These games have been successfully published in the U.S., Mexico, and Italian markets.
Outside of my professional work, I have donated original paintings to fund-raising auctions for the The Liz Logelin Foundation – a non-profit organization established to financially assist widows and widowers with young families.
Additionally, I have created pencil portraits as gifts for my children’s school teachers every year for the past eight years for the annual Teacher Appreciation Week at their elementary school.
I currently live in the beautiful California Central Coast where I enjoy avoiding wild fires, earthquakes, flooding and mudslides. Who doesn’t love a great sunset at the beach?!
As a skilled professional, I try to create art and animations that repeatedly exceed expectations. If you have a need for what I can do, let’s talk!
